PolishLearning outcomes:
Student has expanded knowledge of some branches of mathematics and physics, necessary to describe the measurements in agricultural engineering
Has in-depth knowledge of systems, technologies and measurement techniques used in the production of agriculture, forestry and food.
Has advanced knowledge of the threats to the environment, resulting from the over-crossing of measurement parameters.
Is encouraged by theoretical and practical knowledge of measurement techniques, measuring instruments needed to use agricultural production, field, forest management, and livestock.
Student is able to plan and carry out measurements in different areas of agricultural engineering. He can either use different methods of analysis, simulation and experimental. Is able to develop documentation on the implementation of measurements in agricultural engineering and discuss the results
Can be made to identify and formulate specifications for complex tasks in the field of agricultural production, including non-standard tasks
Able to assess the suitability and ability to use new achievements (methods, technologies and techniques) for agricultural and forestry
Competences:
Student is aware of the need for continuous training in the profession, including measuring instruments, using the internet, trade fairs, books and libraries
Demonstrates knowledge of the importance, responsibility and the effects of engineering this direction, the measurement error of the data and their impact on the quality of food and the environment
Prerequisites:
Physics, thermodynamics, electrical engineering, soil scienceCourse content:
The object is selected measurement methods in agricultural technology. This applies both to the soil (firmness, cohesiveness) and agricultural products (moisture) and a gaseous medium such as drying gas (moisture, dust) and as fluid (speed, flow rate). Students will also learn: photoelastic method, strain and holographic processing method of physical quantities into electrical signals, the importance of sound and ultrasound in agricultural machinery. Research is also carried heat of combustion of fuel and food products, and measurements of speed and flow ratesRecommended literature:
