PolishThe course only in Polish with possibility of individual support in English.Learning outcomes:
During the course a knowledge and practical skills are gained permitting of student to description of classification of building grounds and their properties. Know elementary elements of elasticity and, plasticity theory and elementary resistances theory. Problems of the compatibility research, shear strength, the consolidation and compressibility of soil. Know agents determining these properties. Mechanic water reaction on the ground framework run-off pressure, swelling, retraction, and frost hewing of soil. Earth pressure and passive earth pressure. Geotechnical research. Determining of settlement. Stability of slopes.
Passing the course could now determining elementary physical properties of soil, grain size distribution, humidity, densities, and index density and index plasticity. Determining parameters of shear strength and compressibility. Investigate permeability of soil swelling and retraction.. Determining of active and passive pressure distribution on wall. Methods determining of stability of slopes and into filtration stability of slopes. Student has to determining type and kind field and laboratory geotechnical tests. Competences:
