Learning outcomes: A student gets knowledge about ethiopathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of internal diseases, infectious diseases, surgery and reproduction of dogs and cats.
Competences: After finishing of the subject student can diagnose diseases of dogs and cats and can administer an appropriate therapeutic and prophylactic management.
Prerequisites: Animal Anatomy, Topographic Anatomy, Pathomorphology, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Parasitology, Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Immunology, Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics, General Surgery and Anaesthesiology, Diagnostic Imaging.
Course content: Internal diseases of dogs and cats (etiology, diagnosis, management), surgery of dogs and cats (diagnostics, surgical procedures), infectious diseases of dogs and cats (etiology, diagnosis, management), reproduction of dogs and cats (reproductive processes, reproduction disorders - etiology, diagnosis, management).
