W1 – students have general knowledge on mathematics and statistics [BH1_W03].

U1 – students are able to use information technology (computer software) to collect and process data on animal husbandry [BH1_U03].
U2 – students can solve, under supervision of a teacher, simple research problems concerning agriculture, and then are able to interpret results and conclude [BH1_U04].Competences:

The overall purpose of the course is to provide students with theoretical background and practical skills concerning statistical methods used when summarizing or describing a collection of data (descriptive statistics), data modelling, and then to draw inferences about the process under investigation (inferential statistics).Recommended literature:
