Learning outcomes: Knowledge He knows the basics of programming in sufficient detail to enable independent implementation of the calculations; familiar AutoCAD software enables the creation of engineering drawings according to accepted standards, modifying existing drawings, preparation of drawings to print on an appropriate scale, creating a three-dimensional model of an object and perform realistic visualization. Knowledge He can read a typical block diagrams and prepare on the basis of simple calculations, programming methods can be used to retrieve and transform data sets, can create an engineering drawing of the object according to accepted standards, to print a drawing to a scale, to create a three-dimensional model of the object and make a realistic visualization.

Competences: Able to work independently and in a team to work on the specific task.

Prerequisites: algebra, information technology, technical drawing and descriptive geometry.

Course content: Algorithmic processing. Simple statements and controls. Data types. Functions and procedures. Using a Python development environment for computational programs, converting file formats and data sets graphical presentation of results of calculations. Cooperation program with the environments and uses. Working in AutoCAD: units, coordinates, drawing boundaries, space model sheet, vector objects, precise drawing, editing and transformations, layers, styles, blocks, text, design and print to scale. Modeling of three-dimensional (3D) solid models, surface and mesh. Create sections and 2D drawings from 3D models. Visualization and print 3D objects. Data sharing by the drawings.

Recommended literature:

Assessment methods: short tests on each class of programming and design, 2 tests of drawing, a written exam with CAD.
