Learning outcomes: After completing the course a student is able to: Knowledge: -Students will acquire knowledge of the pathology of anterior pole of the eye and adnexa of the eye, the use of cameras to identify corneal injury, disease of the iris, ciliary body and fundus. Practical skills: -Students acquire skills in direct and indirect ophthalmoscope, slit lamp and tonometer. Will be able to recognize eye diseases and treat them medically.
Competences: Students will be able to diagnose and treat inflammation of the conjunctiva, cornea, anterior and posterior pole of the eye, and perform basic surgical procedures.
Prerequisites: Completed and passed courses in anatomy, histology and pharmacology. Completed courses in surgery and anesthesia.
Course content: Getting to know the orthopedic test plan for small animals, the basic differential diagnosis of orthopedic disorders. Getting to know the basic and operational techniques, both in theoretical and practical in the form of workshops.
