A student after the course should know and understand principles of prophylactic and how to plan the immunoprophylactic programmes on cattle and pigs farms. He should be able to find and create new solutions for farm animals in immunoprotection and immunostimulation field. He should to estimate and recognize health hazard and to prepare to it the adequate programme. Competences:
A student after the course should obtain the competence of prophylactic and immunoprophylactic programmes construction; to estimate costs of their implementation and future profits. Prerequisites:
A student should be after courses: Animal breeding, Animal nutrition, Technologies in animal production, Animal hygiene, Immunology, Veterinary preventionCourse content:
Presentation of prophylactic and immunoprophylactic programmes construction specifity for different species depending on herd size, production group and epizootiological estimation. The estimation of economic effects of proposed programmes. Recommended literature:
