Knowledge:
Student defines the concept of biochemical - recognize the protein and nucleic acid - have a basic knowledge of the structure and function of cellular molecules - explains the main tracks of metabolism: sugars, proteins and lipids, overlapping with the participation of relevant enzymes - know kinetic action of enzymes – It can be explained by the integration and the hierarchy of processes of cellular - distinguishes the enzymes, coenzymes and vitamins - distinguish between fractions nucleic acids also replication, transcription translation.
Skills:
The Student can perform biochemical reactions using pipettes, test tubes and water bath - performs the reactions characteristic of cellular organic compounds - the variability of conditions of enzymes activity- calculates the concentration of sugars, proteins, nucleic acids – estimate enzymes activity -place the support equipment necessary in the workshop of biochemical - It can indicate the factors harmful.
Competences:
Social skills (attitude):
Is able to work in a team; is aware of the common responsibility of the undertaken task; shows care about workplace, glassware and equipment; understands the importance of precision in biochemistry.
Prerequisites:
Inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry Course content:
Structure and function of important cellular molecules: aminoacids, proteins, lipids, fatty acids, saccharides by which they; Characteristics, mechanism and kinetics of enzymes action; Coenzymes and vitamins soluble in water and fats; Course, location and the regulation of metabolism in the cell.
