The student gains knowledge of the technologies used in water and wastewater management. The student can predict what technologies should be use in wastewater management in order to protect natural environment and surface water against degradation. Competences:
Student after completing the course can work in the institutions related to water and wastewater service. Prerequisites:

Characteristic of sewage. Requirements of water intended for human consumption and wastewater discharged into water and soil. Basic technologies of domestic wastewater treatment: method of mechanical, biological and chemical treatment.
