Student got the knowledge comprising nutritional value of fruits, varieties all species cultivated in Poland and their climate and soil conditions, methods of planting, training, fertilization, cutting, soil management, plant protection, irrigation and harvesting. Competences:
After completing the course a student is able to undertake the fruit production. Student is able to adjust the grown cultivars of all species to the local environmental conditions, and in additional he has a practical knowledge about 40 cultivars of apple tree.Prerequisites:
Botany, Plant Physiology, Soil Science, NurseryCourse content:
Management of fruit trees and berry plants, planting and training, agrotechnical methods in cultivation, fertilization, cutting, soil management, plant protection, irrigation, morphology and pomology of all species cultivated in polish climate conditions. Recommended literature:
