Learning outcomes: Effects of education: Skills: uses modern technologies and technical means of production forest, knows construction and forestry machines working principle, can realize proper exploitation and can use machinery in forestry, performs proper regulation and service forestry machinery.
Competences: Competencies: able to assess the suitability of each solution forestry machinery for use in the processes of forest management and forest use, has competence to use the machine as instructed, to carry out proper maintenance and inspection activities of forest machinery and equipment.
Prerequisites: Projecting in forestry works
Course content: Assumptions and aims of subject : Goal of subject is to get knowledge about: modern technologies and techniques used in management and use of the forest, obtains ability to understand the principles of the construction, obtains ability to understand the principles of the construction, operation, regulation, servicing of machinery and equipment currently used in the breeding and use of the forest.
Recommended literature: Jerzy Więsik Forest Machines. Part I. Publishing house SGGW Warsaw.2001. Periodical - Machine and Agricultural Tractors.
Assessment methods: The form and conditions for receiving credit: Is obligatory pass the practice classes, it will be depended on actual written tests and ability to service it. Exam - written after the 6th semester. Minimum knowledge to pass - 65%.
