Learning outcomes: Student acquire knowledge about the ecological and integrated technology of fruit and vegetable production. Student will develop the skills for species and cultivar selection and adjust the optimal methods of production, with particularly allowance for the health of consumer and environment protection.

Competences: After completing the course student will be able to plan and carry out the farm specializing in ecological fruit and vegetable production. Students will know the rules of assortment of species, cultivars, optimal method of cultivation with limitation chemical methods of disease and insect protection in definite conditions of landscape and environment.

Prerequisites: Orchards, Vegetable production, Crop protection

Course content: The bases of integrated and ecological fruit and vegetable production, regional distribution of crop production, selection of species and cultivars, rotation, tillage, fertilization, plant protection and management.
