Functions: linear, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic. Number sequence. Limit of a sequence. Limit of a function. Derivative of a function. Maximum, minimum of a function. Application of a derivative to curve sketching. Convex and concave functions. Indefinite and definite integral and their application in physics, chemistry and biology. Basic notions of the probability theory.

Assessment methods:
Tutorials:
Two written tests (45 minutes), 2 shorts written test (20 minutes). The students will receive points for the tests and for properly solved problems ,,at the blackboard’’ during the classes. The final grade will be based on the sum of obtained points. The students are obliged to participate in the classes – only one absence (which is not caused by illness etc.) is allowed during the semester.
