Polish / EnglishThe course in English will be available if a minimum of 6 students sign up for a group. If less than 6 students sign up for the group, the course will be available in Polish with the possibility of individual support in English. Learning outcomes:
The student after completion of the course should learn a tool for creating and editing of vector graphics. The student should acquire skills in AutoCAD for the creation of flat and three-dimensional drawings, preparing them for printing and creation of projects visualization.Competences:
Prerequisites:
Preceding subjects: Information technologies – year I, semester1.
Course content:
Introduction to working with AutoCAD: general informations about the application, the appearance of the main application window, creating a new project (use of standard, templates, wizard), save drawings in any format, opening of drawings existing in DWG format, zoom and move around the picture.
Coordinate systems, the area of the dialog box.
Layers, control of layers.
Precision drawing.
Basic drawing tools.
Editing tools.
Circular and rectangular array. Scale. Calibration of the raster images.
Handles, editing with handles.
Drawing blocks: creation, insertion, splitting, editing, libraries of blocks.
Dimensioning, dimensions editing, dimensional styles, text insertion.
Prints, manager of print devices, print layout, viewports, views, freezing of layers in viewports.
An introduction to 3D drawing. Edge-, wall- and block modeling.
