Bindings intra- molecular and intermolecular interactions . Types of chemical reactions . Reaction kinetics . Elements of chemical thermodynamics . Thermochemistry . States of matter - gases, liquids , solids . Appropriate solutions and colloidal systems . Interfacial phenomena . Electrochemistry - cells , electrolysis , chemical and electrochemical corrosion . Classification and nomenclature of organic compounds. Types of chemical reactions in organic chemistry. General characteristics of organic compounds : aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons , alcohols, phenols , aldehydes, ketones , carboxylic acids, esters , fats, nitro compounds , amines , amides , heterocyclic compounds , amino acids, peptides, proteins , carbohydrates.
