Knowledge
Student has knowledge on physics including the basics of thermodynamics; understands energy transmission processes and heat exchange occurring in installations and engineering devices and in households; knows the most important parameters characterizing the thermodynamic factor and energy effect transformation and thermodynamic cycles; knows basic principles of limiting of heat loss through barriers.
Skills
Student can apply knowledge from thermodynamics to solve technical problems; can describe issue in the field of transformation and thermodynamic cycles in thermal devices and perform for them calculations of factor parameters and of energy effect; knows how to perform basic calculations heat exchange; can calculate heat loss through barriers.

Thermodynamic cycles. Phase transformation. Water vapor as a thermodynamic factor. Theory of humid air - basic parameters. Basic transformations of humid air.
