During course students achieve knowledge of methodology for determining the water needs in drainage arable lands. Student is able to choose the drainage system, count the technical parameters and propose the route of drainage pipelines set.Competences:
After completing the course student is able to take part in designing and realization of drainage systems.Prerequisites:
Soil physics, Meteorology and hydrologyCourse content:
Symptoms, causes and results of excessive soil moisture, standards of drainage, depth and distance between pipelines, devices and systems of drainage, rules of designing and realization of ditches and pipelines, systematic and non-systematic drainage.Recommended literature:
