The students acquire knowledge necessary to continue the study of agricultural sciences. He/She is able to perform experiments and measurement of typical physics problems. The students are able to analyze properly a real system pointing out main elements and prepare description of the subject. The students have the necessary knowledge in order to study specialized technical disciplines as well as to understand phenomenon related to soil and biological systems.Competences:
Acquired knowledge is necessary to continue study in the Horticultural Faculty. Students are able to measure various physical parameters. They can describe properly physical phenomena and point out the most important elements of the considered phenomenon.Prerequisites:
Elements of physics and mathematics from secondary schoolCourse content:
The measurement of physical quantity. Systems of units. The physic\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s role in the agricultural science, classical mechanics of translational and rotational movements, work, energy, energy and momentum conservation principle. Electricity and magnetism. Thermodynamical aspects of interaction between environment and a plant. Elements of atomic physics: photoelectric phenomenon, atom and nucleus of atom structure. Types of radiation and its influence onto the living organisms.Recommended literature:
