Learning outcomes: Knowledge: W01- student knows the research objectives and methodologyof occupational health and safety and ergonomics; knows functional determinants of system: man-machine and human - environment [BH1_W20; R1A_W05, R1A_W08, InzA_W03] W02 - student defines the basic factors of work environment and their impact on the human body [BH1_W20; R1A_W05, R1A_W08, InzA_W03] W03 - student knows the potential health effects caused by chemical, biological and physical factors at work [BH1_W06; R1A_W03, InzA_W01] W04 - student understand the biological and environmental causes of tiredness [BH1_W20; R1A_W05, R1A_W08, InzA_W03]. Skills: U01- student interprets results of measurements of the physical working environment to its optimization [BH1_U01; R1A_U01, R1A_U03, InzA_U01, InzA_U04] U02 - student uses the basic diagnostic techniques to assess the level of occupational risk and biological work load [BH1_U01; R1A_U01, R1A_U03, InzA_U01, InzA_U04].

Competences: Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors): K1 -is aware of the risks in incorrectly designed environment of work [BH1_K06; R1A_K04, BH1_K09; R1A_K06]; K2- correctly formed his place of work [BH1_K09; R1A_K06]

Prerequisites: Prerequisites: human anatomy, human physiology

Course content: Course contents: definition of ergonomics and occupational safety, conditions for the operation of the system man-machine; physical, chemical and biological factors of work environment, anthropometry as an ergonomic system of reference; ergonomics issues of perception of signals in the process of labor, occupational health of mental and physical work.
