Learning outcomes: -W1 - The student has a basic knowledge of feed ingredients, structure and functioning of the digestive system of the main species of farm animals and the distribution, nutrition and the use of different feeds in the diet to ensure proper growth, development, health and productivity of animals. [BH1_W07; BH1_W08; BH1_W12; InzA_W02; InzA_W04] W2 - knows and understands the rules for the selection and application of appropriate rations for different age groups, technology, depending on the physiological state or stage of production animals. [BH1_W11; BH1_W W3 - knows the rules laying rations that allow the use of the genetic potential of animals in the conduct of various types of production, animal products that ensure a high nutritional value. [BH1_W12; InzA_W02; InzA_W05] W4 - student knows the basic methods of maintenance roughage. [BH1_W08; BH1_W15; InzA_W02, InzA_W05, 12, InzA_W02; InzA_W05] U1 - The student is able to determine the animals' requirements for energy and nutrients for a variety of species including the production. [BH1_U08; InzA_U01, InzA_U02, InzA_U08] U2 - The student can independently select and construct a feed rations to ensure that the animals meet the demand for energy and nutrients for a variety of animal species. [BH1_U08; InzA_U01, InzA_U02, InzA_U08] U3 - can include preparing doses and mixtures of animal fodder for their impact on the quality of the product. [BH1_U14; InzA_U01, InzA_U02, InzA_U08]

Competences: K1 - the student is aware of the importance manifestations activities animal nutrition on the health and productivity of farm animals. [BH1_K01; BH1_K10; InzA_K01] K2 - understands the need for learning throughout life. [BH1_K01; InzA_K01]
