PolishLearning outcomes:
During the course student gathering theoretical knowledge about climate and weather factors, their co-operations and biometeorogical classification of weather and climate. Student purchases also practical skills to describe weather state or its metrological factors. What is more he has also knowledge about multidirectional interactions between climate, fauna and flora.Competences:
After course student can make biometeorological maps of typical geographic regions, can define how regional bioclimates and weather types influence on physic and physiological condition of animals and humans. Student is able to asses how animals react on weather changeovers. He may also define which species and animal races can be breed in different climate. Why this climate regionalization is so important. Is it possible to use geographic regionalization of climatotherapy? Thanks to this knowledge about climatology and meteorology can be improved.Prerequisites:
Course content:
Climate factors and their influences on climate types; weather factors and their variability; dependence between weather factors; influences of meteorological elements on human and animal organism; adaptation to defined climate conditions, acclimatization; adaptation to changing weather conditions, meteotropismus, climatotherapy.Recommended literature:
