Students learn computer program packages, which are used in animal breeding practice for data storage, QTL detection, calculation of an inbreeding coefficient and prediction of breeding values. Selected elements of the analysis is carried by students themselves in the SAS package.Competences:
The completion of this course allows for working in centers dealing with the analysis of animal breeding data, such as national data base centers, international, national or intern centers for routine estimation of breeding values.Prerequisites:
