Student has knowledge in ecology and environmental management necessary for environmental protection at any technological activity. Student has knowledge on the rules of sustainable development.

Student interprets and applies the legal regulations to solve the main environmental problems related to technological activity. Student foresees the ecological and environmental aspects at decision planning and technological activities.Competences:
Student understands the responsibility for technological activities that influence on the quality of natural environment and human’ health.Prerequisites:
Course content:
Basic environmental problems in Poland and the world related to water, air and soil quality. Natural resources management. Waste management. Water and waste-water management. The system of environmental management and protection in Poland, including basic legal regulations. Procedures of Environmental Impact Assessment. National system of environmental monitoring in Poland.Recommended literature:
