Learning outcomes: Kowledge: Student has expanded knowledge of experiment design and factorial analysis in agronomy. Skills: The student has the ability to plan and carry out agronomical experiment and has ability to interpret properly results.

Competences: Social competence: The student has the ability to cooperate within group and is able to change qualifications and role in group. The Student is able to identify priorities in order to solve different problems.

Prerequisites: Statistics.

Course content: Student distribution and normal distribution. Correlation and regression analysis. Analysis of variance. Planning, carried out and data analysis one factor experiments: completely randomized design , randomized complete block design, latin square design. Planning, carried out and data analysis factorial experiments: completely randomized design ,randomized complete block design, split – plot design , strip-plot design. Interaction and its exploitation in agriculture (2 hours). Interaction and it’s exploitation in agriculture

Assessment methods: Knowledge: Credit rating based on audit work, test- covering selected lecture and exercises, report from training lectures . Knowledge to pass 60%. Skills: Assessment of the exercise of audit work Social competence: working individually and in groups, the attitude of the lectures and exercises.
