Student knows the problems of drought in Poland and their effects on the environment, knows the evaluation indicators and types of drought, know technical -natural methods of water retention in the scope of the catchment, knows the types of small water reservoirs and sources of power, is able to select appropriate technical, agricultural -forestry and land improvement means in order to improve the water environment.Skills: Student is able to assess the status of existing water supply and drainage systems, propose their modernization in order to increase water resources dispositional rural areas, it can determine the location of the small retention of water in order to reduce the negative effects of drought.Competences:
Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors): Student is aware of the need to control water resources in order to improve people's lives.Prerequisites:

The problem of drought in Poland, the types of drought, the impact of drought on the environment, the effects of drought in the economy, the forms and types of retention. Forming retention of the technical, agricultural -forestry and land improvement means , controlled retention (reservoir, pond and water and drainage systems), uncontrolled retention, retention of soil and groundwater, types of small water reservoirs and sources of supply.Recommended literature:
