Knowledge: Student knows the basic measure of water pollution and waste knows methods for sewage treatment, knows technology in the methods of effluent treatment know the requirements of the waste water discharged into water and soil. Skills: Students can choose an appropriate wastewater treatment technology due to the amount and composition of the waste, can design a home sewage treatment plant based on a septic tank, sand filter, dispersal drain, can predict the effects that occur after the introduction of sewage into the water and soil.
Competences:
Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors): Student show understanding of the importance of the advisability of purified water supply, quality and health needs of the population. He understands the importance of expediency wastewater treatment methods highly effective, having an impact on the state of pollution of water and soil.Prerequisites:

Waste water characteristics. Wastewater treatment by mechanical methods. Biological wastewater treatment. Removal of nutrients from wastewater. Water and wastewater management in selected industrial plants. Wastewater treatment in conditions close to natural. Waste water sludge.Recommended literature:
