Knowledge of:
regulations in the field of occupational safety and health; scope of employer’s and employee’s liability for failure to observe Occupational Safety and Health regulations; hazards occurring in jobs in industry, agriculture and forestry; regulations governing the appointment of accident investigation committee and determinants of post-accident proceedings. (T1A_W03, T1A_W10, T1A_W04, R1A_W01, R1A_W05).
Ability:
to use knowledge independently to solve problems in the area of Occupational Safety and Health in different economic entities, to develop occupational safety and health instructions, to organize and carry out on-site training as well as periodical Occupational Safety and Health training, to apply provisions of law and professional study on occupational safety. (T1A_U11, InzA_U03, R1A_U09, R1A_U05, R1A_U06, R1A_U07 ).
Social competence (attitudes)
Awareness of: risks and hazards which may occur at work and ability to discern existing hazards, understanding the importance of knowledge and observance of work safety regulations; understanding the need of continuing education and conducting training for employees from all occupational groups. generally applicable national and EU labour law regulations, hazardous work environment factors, hazard identification systems, classification of Occupational Safety and Health extraordinary risks, Occupational Safety and Health hazards caused by technical equipment, emergency medical service rules [paramedicine], fire-safety rules, collective and personal protection measures, workplace hazard protection methods, preventive healthcare, occupational accidents and diseases, Occupational Safety and Health trainingRecommended literature:
