Knowledge
Student knows the basic concepts of ecology and environment of agricultural production, has a general knowledge of the dependencies and interactions among components of ecosystems; knows the basics of farming in adjusting to the conditions of the habitat and recognizes crop species.
Skills
Student can determine the relationships between habitat conditions and plant requirements, identify the reasons (natural and anthropogenic) causing changes in habitat, knows how to use the appropriate criteria for the choice of agricultural plant according to habitat conditions, is able to offer basic agronomic treatments for optimum plant growth.

Basics of ecology, habitat, ecology of plants. Interactions between species, species diversity. Changes in the environment, succession. Protection of nature. Agricultural production environment. Types of agricultural production, plant, animal, meadow and pasture. Relationship between plant and animal production. Water management. Basics of Agricultural Technology. Crop rotations.
