PolishLearning outcomes:
Knowledge: Student knows the basic methodology of physical measurements and description of relations between physical values, knows basic lows and principles of selected branches of physics, and examples of their applying in industry and everyday live, is familiar with basics of the mathematical analysis of physical phenomena.
Skills: Student can measure basic mechanic, thermodynamic and electric values, Student is able to apply the physical lows they know for solving simple practical problems, is able to analyze physical/natural phenomena referring to all branches of physics. Student presents graphically and analytically the results of measurements and relationships between physical values.
Competences:
Student recognizes problems with implementation of new technologies particularly those connected with biological hazards. He demonstrates responsibility for the equipment entrusted and understands that its proper operation depends on his care and competences. He develops his abilities to state questions and problems and to express assessments of proposed solutions during work as a team.Prerequisites:
None.Course content:
Classical mechanics, phenomenological thermodynamics, Hydrodynamics, Selected problems of electrodynamics, elements of nuclear physics.Recommended literature:
