Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student: - Defines the basic concepts of property law and construction law; - Knows the rules of conduct in the preparation and drawing up of local planning documents; - Knows the steps and participants in the construction process; - Knows the elements of a construction contract, the parties to the contract, the essence of a contractual relationship in this respect; Skills: Student: - Provides an interpretation - interpretation of the law based on statutory law and case law in the construction process; - Draw up pleadings in the administrative procedure necessary to obtain the desired administrative decision; - Complements the documentation necessary for use during the construction process; - Classifies legal entities occurring in the construction process; - Is able to analyze the documentation, indicating the legal status of the property;
Competences: Student: - Shows understanding for the need to interpret the law in the construction process; - Organizes its role as a party to the process in the context of civil and administrative proceedings; - Is aware of the need to use specific legislation and case law in order to protect their rights and shape liability rules; - Is aware of the limits of liability for damage caused during the construction process;
Prerequisites:
Course content: The property law. Land registry system. The local planning instruments. The administrative procedure for the works contract. The participants in the construction process. The start of construction. Supervision. Development decision. The building permit. The consequences of the construction without the required permit or notification. Completion of construction and occupancy permit for the work. Demolition of a building. Construction disaster. Construction Supervision. Professional liability and criminal liability in the construction industry.
