W1 - has a detailed knowledge of the control of horses use value [BH2_W06; R2A_W03];
W2 - has extensive knowledge of biodiversity protection of breeding horse [BH2_W13; R2A_W06];
W3 - knows the basics of horse breeding centers in rural environment [BH2_W21; R2A_W06].
Skills: Student U1 - has the ability to use the necessary information from the breeding documentation [BH2_U01; R2A_U01];
U2 - individually plans the breeding of any race horse [BH2_U05; R2A_U05];
U3 - is able to point out methodological errors in the breeding and use of horses [BH2_U22; R2A_U05].

Course contents:
The scopeof the institution rebreeds and genetic resources conservation programs. The possibility of using EU funds for horse breeders. Visits to breeding centers. Observation of obligatory and alternative performance tests horsesRecommended literature:

The basis of completion of exercises course is preparing a computer presentation verifying competence (K1, K2, K3) and containing 50% of the knowledge gained during the classes and 50% of the knowledge resulting from the student's own work. The student is required to demonstrate skills (U1, U2, U3) during field studies.Student's attendance is obligatory at the exercise classes and the field studies. Student can define rules for the organization of horse breeding farm or equestrian center. He/she is able to present a breeding plan for the chosen race of horses. A student is allowed to skip two lessons but he/she must accomplish these in the form of verbal report. Students must obtain grades before the end of the exam session. This is a condition to be entitled to take the exam.
The basis of completion of the course is a written exam. Knowledge (W1, W2,K1) is verified on the basis of five problem questions. Three of the questions must be answered correctly. The duration of the exam is 45 min. If a student fails the exam, he/she is entitled to retake it.The second try must take place in the period covering the exam session.Comment:
