Learning outcomes: Students acquire advanced theoretical knowledge related to the use of modern software allows mastering and understanding the design of assistive technology in the field of agricultural engineering and forestry. The student acquires an extensive ability to design and construction of technical facilities, the use of modeling and computer simulation. Efficiently uses modern computer software, in particular the creation of mechanical objects understood throughout the agricultural engineering and forestry. The student independently develops and correctly interpret technical documentation. Acquires the ability to analyze project documentation.

Competences: The student has to acquire habits of continuous exploration and self-development of new solutions typical for mechanical design work prepared for the scope of agricultural engineering and forestry. Correctly identifies the dilemmas associated with the preparations for the implementation of system solutions, methods, and applications of computer-aided design and analysis of documentation in design offices, development centers branches of agricultural engineering and forestry. Independently runs calculations, designs and organizes tasks in the team

Prerequisites: Engineering graphics, basis of computer science

Course content: The use of methods and means of computer-aided design, in particular, mechanical objects, machines. Analysis and creation of electronic documentation. Management of the drawing.

Assessment methods: Exam in the form of an individual final project. Minimal store of knowledge to the credit - 60 %.
