Learning outcomes: Knowledge: 1) explains the essence of and subject of finances and banking (S1A_W02), 2) shows the main methods, tools and techniques used in finances and banking (S1A_W06), 3) identifies actual problems of finance and banking (S1A_W08), Skills: 4) able to analyze and interpret the phenomena occurring in finances and banking (S1A_U01), 5) used forecast the financial and banking phenomena using appropriate methods and tools to analyze occurring of processes (S1A_U04), 6) uses this knowledge to solve real problems occurring in finances and banking (S1A_U08), 7) can perform practical tasks in the detailed issues relating to of finances and banking (S1A_U09),

Competences: Social competences: 1) is used properly terminology concerning of finance and banking, and is creative in sharing their skills (S1A_K06), 2) myśli działa w sposób przedsiębiorczy oraz rekomenduje odpowiedzialne korzystanie z metod oraz narzędzi stosowanych w finansach i bankowości (S1A_K07).

Prerequisites: Knowledge of mathematics and economics

Course content: Basic issues in finance in a market economy, of banking with a separate indication bank products and operations, as well as trading instruments in the financial market and the use of these instruments in the process of business management.
