Knowledge
Student defines the basic concepts of a law system building; he formulates basic institutions of civil law, in particular the rights of property; defines the basic institutions of administrative law process; knows procedures of preparation and formation of local planning documents.
Skills
Student provides an interpretation of the law based on statutory law and case law; creates pleadings in the administrative procedure necessary to obtain the desired administrative decision; defines the risks connected with the possibility to claim compensation for damages for taken actions; he completes documentation required for entry in land and mortgage registers; classifies legal entities appearing in a legal transactions; he can make a distinction of individual entities rights on the basis of property rights; defines factors which determine rising a construction project in terms of environmental protection.
Competences:
Student understands the need for the law interpretation in the process of law applying; he organizes his role as a part of the process in the context of civil and administrative proceedings; is aware of the need to use specific legislation and case law in order to protect his rights and shape liability rules.

Rules of law, state of law essence, state structure. The law standard, sources of law, the law creation, the types of acts, the law publication, interpretation of the law. Systematics of civil law. Civil-law connections. The property law, the concept of property, the classification of property, property and assets, movables and immovables. Spatial boundaries of property law, the neighborhood rights, the issue of the land borders. Basic concepts of administrative law. The issue of the Environmental Protection Act. Spatial Planning and Development Act. Land and mortgage registers. Selected aspects of the Waste Act. Water Law.Recommended literature:
