Knowledge:
student knows the rules of the functioning of aquatic organisms; student explains how the aquatic animals adapt to water environment; student explains strategy of gaining nourishment, reproduction and parental protection;student understands the interaction on level inside and between species.
Skills:
student analyzes environmental adaptation of build and functions of aquatic organisms; student analyzes and interprets in an appropriate way every connection between life environment and aquatic organisms’ build.
Competences:
Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors):
student plans scientific experiments adapting them to circumstances, held labware and capabilities; student is aware of hazards for human health, resulting from the progress of civilization.

Importance of aquaculture in Poland and elsewhere. Main species of aquaculture animals. Husbandry and breeding in aquaculture – crayfishes, crabs, shrimps, catfish and selected mariculture animals.Recommended literature:
