prof. dr hab. Zygmunt OwsiakLanguage of instruction:
PolishLearning outcomes:
Knowledge:
Student gains practical information concerning the construction and regulation of agricultural machinery used in the field production and the theoretical operation of the subassamblies of the machines. The student defines the division and functional characterization of agricultural machinery and recognize the basic rules in terms of different design solutions.
Skills:
The student acquires the ability to apply the appropriate nomenclature for agricultural Machinery. He distinguishes between regulatory systems, depending on the variable field conditions and properties of materials of agricultural origin. Acquires the ability to conduct practical kinematic analysis according to the different tasks and functions performed.Competences:
Social competences:
The student demonstrates an understanding of phenomena occurring at the interface between the material of biological origin and components of machines used in field crop production. Assess and explain the impact of machinery on the soil and the materials of vegetable origin. Recognizes the principle of a machinery regulation for their effective use and their impact on agriculture environment. Het shows the need for self-improvement and training in the application of modern design solutions.Prerequisites:
physics, mathematics, machinery parts, theory of mechanisms, materials technologyCourse content:
Construction and operation of agricultural machinery - machinery for soil preparation and sowing seed, to fertilize and protect crops, forage harvesters, combine harvesters for grain crops, root crops harvesters. Analysis of manufacturing technology and the kinetics of components of machines, basic issues related to the theory of operation of machines and their components. Getting the right regulatory methods, depending on design requirements and the destination machine.Recommended literature:

Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of knowledge: colloquia on exercises, written exam
Assessment of learning outcomes in skills: assessment of skills in the use of nomenclature, knowledge of the structure and regulation in terms of tasks assigned to the farm machines
Assessing the effects of training in social competences: evaluation of methods of team work, discussion of design solutions of operation, discussion of consequences of inappropriate regulation in terms of work quality
