Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Knowledge about history of garden art, features of gardens characteristic for different historical ages. Renovation of historic gardens. Skills: Students can describe the features characteristic for particular styles of garden planning and identify features of gardens characteristic for particular historical age.
Competences: Student understands historical changes in garden planning, is able to name the styles of garden art.
Prerequisites: Botany, Dendrology, Ecology
Course content: History of garden art from ancient times until contemporary times and basic information about renovation of historical gardens.

Assessment methods: Knowledge: Exam from subjects of lectures Skills: Valuation of ocena the ability to recognize different styles of garden, typical of individual historical periods Social competencies: Evaluation of information selection and compliance with copyrights.
