Student knows and describes species and varieties produced for cut flowers and cut green as well as pot plants);
knows equipment used in floristry,
knows rudimentary factors influencing vase life of cut flowers and rules of proper composing of cut flowers, is able to O2-06
Skills:
Student plans and analyzes the tasks from interior decoration with plants. O2-U06
Selects plant material and equipment for specific plant compositions.
Creates plant compositions in vessels and occasional decorations. Presents his/her composition and justifies used materials. O2-U07
Competences:
Student exhibits sensitivity for esthetics of work and rest sites. O2-K03.
Is aware of the need for getting knowledge and training floristry. O2-K01.
Can work individually and in a team, taking part in the task in different roles. O2-K05.

Field and protected cultivation of ornamental plants, botany, plant physiology Course content:
Plant material used in floristry Rules of creating of plant compositions. Equipment for floristry. Compositions in vessels. Plant compositions for special occasions. Recommended literature:

Skills: Evaluation of single floristic task during colloquium, evaluation of created floristic compositions and oral presentation of the task
