Knowledge:
W1 – defines the concept of livestock genomics (BI_W06, BI_W08, BI_W11);
W2 – indicates bioinformatics tools used in animal husbandry (BI_W04, BI_W09, BI_W14);
W3 – describes the genes with major impact on animals production traits (BI_W06, BI_W08);
W4 – knows the principles of the molecular techniques used in the diagnosis of inherited
disorders in livestock (BI_W08, BI_W16);
Skills:
U1 – can design a research project (BI_U02, BI_U04, BI_U05, BI_U09);
U2 – is able to use basic techniques of molecular biology by himself (BI_U02,
BI_U06, BI_U08);
U3 – interprets the test results (BI_U07, BI_U10);
U4 – presents the test results as presentation and short scientific report (BI_U11);
U5 - ably and safely uses of laboratory equipment(BI_U06, BI_U08);
