Knowledge:
student has a general knowledge on mechanisms regulating the different kinds of animals’ reaction (mainly mammals and birds); student knows the physiological basis of animals’ behaviour and understands behavioural strategies used by animals.
Skills:
student evaluates observed animals’ reactions and fits proper methods of dealing with them; student uses scientific literature and other sources of information; student has the ability of oral presentation in English.

Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors):
student iis aware of responsibility of team members for common goals.

Zoology, animal physiologyCourse content:
physiological basis of animals’ behaviour (especially learning); stress and its effect on animals’ reactions; different forms of animal behaviour (especially in uncharacteristic situations etc.), dealing with animals (during transport, etc.).Recommended literature:
