Knowledge:
Students gain knowledge of the principles of logistics supply management, distribution and trade. Student defines determinants of logistics organization in an industrial and commercial center. The student acquires the knowledge of processes messages related to logistics systems and technical infrastructure and information logistics.
Skills:
Students gain practical skills and the ability to innovative and creative use of knowledge of the systems and logistics chains, material flow in supply and distribution, along with an accompanying flow of information.Competences:
Personal and social competences:
The student demonstrates understanding of the basic principles of logistics organization in an industrial and commercial center. Student evaluates and explains the systems and processes occurring within a given business entity. Student demonstrates the need for self-improvement and training in project management on the supply and distribution company.Prerequisites:
Logistics in the enterprise, production management and services, statistics and operational research.Course content:
The organization of logistics in industrial and commercial enterprises. Determinants of supply and distribution logistics. Material Requirements Planning. Purchases supplies. Methods for selecting sources of purchases. Purchasing procedures. Development of supplier-recipient relations. Logistics customer service. Logistics distribution centers. Information technologies used in logistics. The influence of market changes on the course of the supply of industrial enterprises. The strategic importance of supply.Recommended literature:
