Knowledge
Student has a knowledge about social and psychological aspects of shaping open space and can use it in designing process.
He can formulate principles of designing urban space in range of landscape architecture.
He knows the methods of studies and analysis on open space in a city with consideration the condition connected with its social and physical structure.
He has the basic knowledge concerning on structure and function of a city.
Skills
He can carry out studies and analysis proper to exercise connected with programme and designing of space concern with vise range of condition.
He can solve a complex designing exercise with advanced methods proper to exercise.
He can get a necessary information from various sources needed to solution a problem.

he understand necessity of solving designing problems with conciser of systemic character of a city.
He in conscious a role of different people and different social groups in designing process and necessity of participation all the groups.

Public space in contemporary cities. Shaping public space in social aspects. Physical space and social space. Territorialism. Interactive space. Social meaning of greenery in public city space. „City game” as an idea of social participation in shaping urban space. Civic budget.
Screenplay strategy in shaping of urban space. A role of non-governmental organizations in „game of space”. Communication in „game of space”. Social dimension of lighting and illumination. Light in role of mediator in revitalization of urban space. Holistic consider on contemporary illumination and lighting city space.
