Student becomes introduced into environmental issues He possesses fundamental knowledge on the relationships between lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere, as well as on environmental threats in a global and local scales, and the rules how to solve the problems.Competences:
Passing the course enables a critical assessment of various environmental problems. Student is able to discuss the issues, using proper terminology and right ways of reasoning.Prerequisites:

Fundamental terms in environmental protection. Pro-ecological thinking in the history of civilization. Sustainable development. Global and local problems of climate, air, water, lithosphere and biosphere. Natural resources. The rules of waste and wastewater management. Protection of biological heritage.
