Learning outcomes: Knowledge: He has an extend knowledge in the range of environment protection, energy saving and storage thanks to the improvement of the energetic effectiveness, heat recovery, appropriate selection of materials, systems and heating technologies. R2 OŹE_W9, R2 OŹE_W10 He has a detailed knowledge supported by the strong theoretical basis in the range of design and exploitation of the systems or devices intended for acquisition and utilization of renewable energy sources. R2 OŹE_W12a Skills: Student is able to identify and determine a specificity of engineering tasks, elaborate the documentation related to the engineering task, as well as prepare text containing discussion of the results in the range of low emission buildings. R2OŹE _U03 He is able to solve, based on the standard engineering actions, the exploitation problems related to low emission buildings taking into account the requirements of the environment protection. R2OŹE _U11

Competences: Social competences: Is able to perform detailed analysis of the realized task in view of the proper priorities determination for subjects related to the low emission buildings. R2OŹE _K02

Prerequisites: Thermodynamics, Physics, Acquisition of energy from renewable sources

Course content: Formal and legal aspects, roles and materials in the area of low-emission buildings. Low-emission systems in the energy saving buildings. Heat exchange throughout the compartment and energy balance of the building. Ventilation, recuperation, heat exchangers and low-emission heating. Design of low-emission buildings. Automation in the smart low emission buildings. Economic and environmental aspects in the low emission buildings.

Assessment of education effects in terms of social competences: individual work, team work, selection of arguments, ecological consciousness, copyrights respect, responsibility for entrusted task, conscientiousness in the preparations for task realization.
