Knowledge:
• Student identifies functions, aims and the principles of WTO. He knows the „Agreement on agriculture” and Uruguayan Round of WTO and Doha Round,
• Student is able to qualify conditions of foreign trade of agri-food sector in the Poland.
• Student knows the instruments of the Common Trade Policy for agricultural sector.
• Student is well informs in the level of competitiveness of this sector on the world market.
Skills
• Student is able to show the economic results of use of protection instruments implemented by importers and exporters of agricultural products.
• Student analyse the trade balance of agricultural sector analyses in the Poland.Competences:

Agricultural policy.Course content:
Agricultural production on the World. Great exporters and importers of AG products. Creation of overage surplus of supply and demand function. Mechanism of protection instruments applied by importers and exporters of agricultural products. General arrangement about trade and fares according to GATT classification - aims and principles of functioning. World Trade Organization. Uruguaian Round and Agreement on Agriculture, Doha Round and agricultural trade elements.
Conditions of Polish foreign trade of agri-food articles. Polish foreign trade of agri-food articles after 2004. Import, export, balance, geographical structure, freight structure.
