Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student explains the role of ergonomics in designing of safety and comfortable work places; shows types of hazard that are present on work places; associates types of hazard with their potential consequences; shows types of works that are the subjects of author`s rights. Skills: Student shows the existing hazards on work places determines means for protection people from the consequences of hazards.

Competences: Social skills (attitude): Student predicts the consequences of illegal using of foreign intellectual property.

Prerequisites: Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, Human Biology

Course content: Ergonomics as an interdisciplinary science. Ergonomics and agricultural engineering. Geometry of work places. Signal and control devices on machines. Lighting at work. Thermal and atmospheric work environment. Noise. Vibration. Physical and psychical work loading. Chemical and biological hazards at a work places. Accidents hazards in food industry. Authors` rigths.
