Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Knows main kinds of nutraceutics and antioxidants including nonconventional raw materials, lenows the main trends in packaging and automation of processes in animal food. Skills: Can work out the receipt of functional food product using animal raw materials, can find source of nonconventional bioactive substances of animal origin.

Competences: Social skills (Attitude): Understand needs for technological procgress in animal products processing, understand law aspects concerning usage of bioactive substances in food production.

Prerequisites: food technology, process engineering, science of mechanics

Course content: Application of non conventional antioxidants in animal products functional food, probiotics in milk and meat products, nutraceutics in eggs, advance in packaging and automation of unit operations in processing of animal raw material.
