Knowledge:
Student has a knowledge about plant species used in green areas. Student knows rules of care of planned species. (O2-W04, O2-W05).
Skills:
Student is able to do an inventory of trees and scrubs and plan treatments appropriate for particular groups of plants. (O2-U01, O2-U05, O2-U07).
Competences:
Student understands the importance of proper selection of plant species in design of green areas and understands their influence on natural environment. (O2-K01, O2-K05).

Botany, Dendrology, Ecology
Course content:
Groups of plant species used in green areas planning and their function in project in different level of organization. Plant species used in squares and lawns. Features and examples of plants used in areas used extensively and intensively. Specific species to be planted in city parks, on playgrounds, in parks, the spa, the housing estates squares.
