Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Students acquire theoretical knowledge related to the evolution of green areas, technology meets individual groups of machines and equipment. He knows the hardware design solutions that affect safety. Understand the rules for the selection of machines for various jobs. It describes the technology works with the use of specific technical measures. Collects and reports news about the preparation of equipment for the job, the necessary settings and adjustments. Has knowledge related to health and safety, environmental protection when working in the field of development of green areas. Skills: The student acquires the ability to develop detailed designs of presentation-specific work on the shaping of green areas. Place the combined technical measures subsequent in the logical order. Is be able to develop documentation on engineering tasks, it is estimated the use of machinery in the year. Selects appropriate technology and equipment work with different technical advancement with regard to aspects of environmental protection
Competences: The student demonstrates an understanding of issues related to the desirability of the different treatments and the shaping green areas to the impact of the various technical means on the environment. Is aware of the risk and is able to assess the impact of the activities carried out both for the environment and for human.

Course content: Tractive energy sources used in the furnishing and maintenance of green areas. Operational technical characteristics, sharing criteria, rules and requirements for the selection of machines for: earthworks, sowing grass, mowing lawns, lawn maintenance, creation lawn of turf grass in rolls, maintenance of shrubs and trees, cutting trees, branch shredding and stumps removal, transplanting trees, cleaning, irrigation of green areas.
