Learning outcomes: Knowledge: W01 - he knows theoretical both the practical knowledge concerning the structure, action and the selection of energy means and in the mechanical engineering and equipments technical in the animal production for all sorts groups of animals [BH1-W15; R1A_W05, R1A_W03, R1A_W04]. W02 - he has a basic knowledge from the scope of construction of technical means to the production of fodders and acquiring an animal products [BH1-W14; R1A_W05]. W03 - he has a basic knowledge about answers structural - of material buildings for animals and the building keeping them company in the object of animal production; - knows determinants location of buildings within the object of animal production including the development of rural areas [BH1-W19; R1A_W07]. Skills: U01 - he is possessing a skill of applying and the precise intercommunication with right nomenclature in the mechanization of the animal production and the buildings for the animal production [BH1-U02; R1A_U02]. U02 - he is distinguishing systems of using machines and knows their regulations depending on varying conditions of conducting the animal production; - performs the basic machinery operation and of devices in the animal production [BH1-U04; R1A_U04]. U03 - an influence on the value of raw materials and an animal products and fodders is possessing a skill of making practical analysis of adopting a technique in the animal production [BH1-U09; R1A_U06: BH1-U11; R1A_U06].

Competences: K01 – an animal occurring on the joint and a technique adopted in the animal production understand phenomena [BH1-K03; R1A_K03]. K02 - cooperation and an influence of machines and devices on animals are able to assess and to explain; - appreciates principles of the correct regulation and for the good of parameters of the functioning of machines under the angle of their effective application and limiting the negative influence to animals [BH1-K04; R1A_K03]. K03 - a need understands self-improvements oneself and of constant training in applying technical high-tech solutions in the animal production [BH1-K10; R1A_K07].

Prerequisites: biophysics, bases of the animal production, bases of the crop production

Course content: Power engineering and electrical means applied in the mechanization of the animal production. Transport in buildings for animal production. The structure, action and principles use of basic machines in the animal production. Of implementing the mechanization and the automation in the animal production in the aspect of increasing production effects and limiting expenditure of the labour on the service. The newest machines, devices and technologies applied in the animal production to preparing and setting fodders, removing excrement, watering animals and milking of cows. Buildings for the animal production (basic).
